  1. Happiness for a reason is a form of misery because the reason can be taken away from you at any time. To be happy for no reason is the happiness you want to experience.
  2. I have never in the past 30 years have someone say to me on the show, that the reason I am so good at what I do is because I am smarter than everyone else. It is all because I have wanted it more, I worked harder, I focused more, I sacrificed more, and more importantly, I had a deep passion for the thing.
  3. Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
  4. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mystery of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one merely tries to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.
